Meet Verona, the handblown glass pendant light from Orasens that adds a quiet splash of colour above the dining table. Each shade is handblown with a matt surface, so light scatters inside the glass wall before it leaves the fitting. What reaches the room is softly diffused, with no visible filament and no glare at eye level, which matters over a dining table or kitchen counter where people sit directly below.

There are two sizes. The medium is 25 cm across and 19 cm deep, enough to anchor a small table alone or to hang in a group of three along a longer one. The large is 35 cm across and 22 cm deep and carries a bigger room by itself. In the size picker, D is the diameter and H is the height. Choose a white, green or orange shade, each on a black fitting, so the colour lives in the glass while the hardware stays understated.

Built from painted iron and glass, Verona stays rigid over time while remaining manageable on a standard ceiling fixing. It takes the included E27 bulb up to 40W and lights an area of roughly 5 to 10 square metres. It is a hardwired fitting, so we recommend installation by a qualified electrician.
